Music Director

Cantors - Cantors are volunteers who offer their services during Mass. They request the Mass time(s) for which they prefer to sing and are put on a rotation schedule. Training is provided. We are always glad to have new cantors join, including high school and college students. If you are interested in this, please contact Barb Rogers at 573-552-6172.

Choir – The choir sings for the two main holidays of Easter and Christmas. The choir practices once a week, approximately 6-8 weeks before each of these holidays.  Watch for the bulletin before these holidays for more information, or contact Barb Rogers at 573-552-6172..

Contemporary Music

Organist – This is a paid position requiring a weekly commitment. Organists are also called upon to help with choir practice and may also may be called upon for funerals. We welcome anyone who might be called to this ministry. Please contact the Parish office for more information.

Stick Ministry – St. Anthony Youth Meditation Ministry is open to members of our parish who are in middle school or high school. This is a meaningful presentation of a Biblical message designed to make you think. These meditations are another way to pray and praise God. The movements, whether with hands or sticks or the whole body, are in sync with the music and are designed to help the observer visualize the message. It is hoped that the music will remain with the observer and later help the observer meditate on the message. This group has shared their ministry with several local churches and organizations.
