Faith, Peace, and Justice
Ministries of Peace and Justice Commission
The Peace and Justice Commission is responsible for furthering and implementing programs and processes involving the social doctrine of the Church. Its goal is to focus on social justice for all God’s people as we cooperate in the building of His Kingdom. Those interested in participating in one or more of these processes should contact the Pastor and/or the Commission Chair.
The External Organizations are those that are supported by the efforts of St. Anthony organizations, membership, or help support St. Anthony efforts as well as their own mission.
Ministries of St. Anthony Church
Camden County Jail Ministry: This ministry provides visits to the Camden County Jail. In addition to spiritual and sacramental support, counseling and broad-based assistance is provided when the incarcerated person is released. Contact the Pastoral Center for information and contact persons.
Crafty Ladies: Crafters meet each Tuesday morning in their room in the Church Lower Level from 9:00 a.m. until noon. This is an individual effort for quilt making and crafts. Crafts are displayed and are available for sale year-round in the Religious Goods Store at the back of Church before and after Mass. Crafters are welcome to bring a project and join the group. Proceeds go toward funding various needs of the Church, including vestments for the priest and deacons, making Church banners, making linens used at Mass, and financial support for Sacramental needs.
